SUMMARY

Mr. Hayden is a Director with Intelligent Discovery Solutions (“iDS”) in Ann Arbor, Michigan. From a career with Ford Motor Company spanning more than 32 years, Gary Hayden offers a wealth of experience. He spent his first 12 years at Ford on the business side, in the areas of corporate finance, accounting, and tax. For the past 20 years, he worked in Ford and Ford Credit's Office of General Counsel in a variety of capacities. Gary helped re-engineer Ford's record management program, making the program more practical and usable, and updating the program to reflect current technology. He managed Ford's discovery in major, complex litigation, employing a strategy of using a web-based document repository to enable simultaneous production of massive volumes of documents to multiple constituencies.

Prior to joining Intelligent Discovery Solutions, Mr. Hayden was Deputy Director of Global Legal Compliance and Strategy for Ford, and Associate General Counsel for Global Financing for Ford Credit. In those assignments, Gary was responsible for compliance with global privacy laws and regulations, OFAC, money laundering, FCPA, and state and federal consumer finance laws and regulations. Gary was also a member of the steering committee for The Sedona Conference® Working Group on Electronic Document Production that prepared the initial version of the Conference's Best Practices Recommendations & Principles for Addressing Electronic Document Production, and he was a member of The Sedona Conference's Advisory Board.

Gary is a summa cum laude graduate of Michigan State University College of Law, and also has an MBA in finance from Wayne State University.
